Welcome to Duluth Public Schools Online Application Process!

If you are interested in becoming a part of our highly qualified staff, we invite you to apply online.  Our online application offers the opportunity to upload additional information such as a cover letter, resume, references and transcripts.  Paper or email copies of these materials will not be accepted.  Your application will be remain active for one year.

 

Information regarding the online application system:

 

v    The browsers supported by Power HR are Internet Explorers for PC’s and Firefox for MAC users.  There are links at the bottom of this page to download these browsers if needed.  The system will not work properly unless these browsers are used.

v    The application consists of multiple steps and will take you between 30 to 60 minutes to complete.

v    Complete the application at your own pace; you may choose to complete the entire application or by sections. You can return to your application as many times as needed.

v    Fields with a red asterisk (*) are required and must be completed to submit your application.

v    Type in normal case; avoid using all capital letters.

v    To save your application or move to the next section, click Next at the top of the screen.

v    To return to a previous screen, click Previous at the top of the screen.

v    When you have completed all sections of the application, be sure to click Submit.

v    Prior to the time that you complete and submit your application, the school district staff will have the ability to view your application.

When applying for Certified Positions, have the following information available for reference:

 

v    Colleges and universities attended, degree earned, major and minor graduation date.

v    License type, level, endorsement, date of issue, and expiration date.

v    Dates of employment, name of employer, name of supervisor, and contact phone number.

v    Three (3) professional references including name, title, organization, work phone and home phone and email address, if available.

v    In addition you will need to attach your cover letter, resume, transcripts from all universities and colleges,  copy of your Minnesota teaching license, and three letters of recommendation or three recent professional evaluations.
